7.1 All Users
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your information
- Opt out of marketing communications (e.g., via an unsubscribe link)
- Object to certain processing of your information
7.2 California Residents (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know/Access — request the specific pieces and categories of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the business/commercial purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we disclose it
- Delete — request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions
- Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information we maintain about you
- Opt out of sale or sharing — as noted above, we do not sell or share personal information, so there is currently nothing to opt out of
- Limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by the CCPA, so this right is not currently applicable
- Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights (e.g., by denying service, charging different prices, or providing a different level of quality)
How to submit a request: Email privacy@geom.ai with the subject line “CCPA Request” and specify which right you are exercising.
Verification: To protect your information, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before fulfilling a request, which may include confirming details you've previously provided (e.g., matching the email on file).
Authorized agents: You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require proof of the agent's authorization and may still require you to verify your own identity directly with us.
Response time: We will respond to verifiable requests within 45 days. This period may be extended once by an additional 45 days when reasonably necessary, with notice to you.
Appeals: If we decline to act on your request, you may appeal by replying to our denial email. We will respond to appeals within 60 days.
